We have a GREAT start (Thanks to people like you) on our Fundraising Campaign towards our No Kill Shelter Building Fund. Even with all the wonderful things we do on a daily basis to help animals like our Rescue, Foster and Adoption Program, Spay/Neuter Alliance Program (SNAP) and Animal Cruelty Investigation Program we still have managed to save towards our No Kill Shelter.

Please team up with us to build a Safe No Kill Shelter for the innocent dogs and cats of Blount County that would otherwise end up in the Animal Control Shelter to be Killed. Bark-N-Purr Club

The Bark-N-Purr Club is one of our most important programs and the best way you can help us short of donating a Million Dollars. The Blount County Humane Society is a Grass Roots, Citizen Based, Non-Profit 501(c)3 Organization that receives no funding from the city or county government. So we depend on the dedication and generosity of people like YOU to make our No Kill Goal a reality.

The Bark-N-Purr Club is designed for the every day person or business to contribute on a regular monthly basis. This gives us consistent funding to keep helping the animals. Our No Kill Shelter Effort, Animal Cruelty Investigation Program, Rescue & Adoption Program and Foster Home Network are some of the many programs we have to help all God's Creatures. To continue helping these deserving creatures we need this consistent monthly income.

When our General Account, which we use to care for our foster dogs and cats, operate our Spay/Neuter Alliance Program (SNAP) and fund all of our other humane endeavors, goes above $5000 the amount above $5000 is transferred into our No Kill Shelter Building Fund. When these funds go into our Building Fund they stay there until we use them to start and build our facilities. So the more "Animal Lovers" to join the Bark-N-Purr Club the sooner we can realize our Dream of a Safe No Kill Shelter for the animals of Blount Count. Join Today!
