Team Up with Blount County's No Kill Shelter Effort as a Volunteer!!!
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. To accomplish all our goals of building a No Kill Shelter, Large Animal Rescue and Rehab and a Wildlife Rescue and Rehab we need EVERYONE to team up with us. We hope you decide to join the Humane Society "Pack"
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Adoption Counselors... Help take care of our Critters at Adoption Events.
- AniMag Team...Write an animal article... Help with set up...Help with printing.
- All Creatures Thrift Store...Volunteer positions of all kinds available.
- Animal Cruelty Investigator...Be an animal HERO.
- Critter Wranglers for Adoption Events...Call Diana @ 438-3200
- Be a Foster Home for a Dog or Cat...This is MUCH needed to help the animals.
- Friends of the Animals Team...Meets Thursdays @ the All Creatures Thrift Store at 1005 East Broadway at 6:30pm.
Immediate Needs:
Volunteers at Adoption Events...all days and hours needed. Help find our adoptable CRITTERS great homes. Talk with prospective adopters about the animals, check veterinarian and personal references, perform home visits. It's a great feeling to find a Forever Home for a deserving dog, cat, puppy or kitten. For more info call Diana at 865-438-3200.
All Creatures Thrift Store... The All Creatures Thrift Store is now open and going strong. This means we need VOLUNTEERS of all kinds. Helping at the thrift store is a great opportunity to make a difference for animals. The ACTS is one of the big ways we will be able to help more and more deserving animals by funding our Animal Protection programs. We also have adoptable dogs and cats at the thrift store and you will be able to get your "Fur Therapy" for the day by helping take care of them. We will soon have our All Creatures Adoption Center open which is located in the space next to the thrift store. We will need several committed volunteers to staff the Adoption Center. Join the team now if you would like to help.

Join the Bark-N-Purr Club... If you are a busy person who loves animals but doesn't have a lot of time to volunteer you can Join the Bark-N-Purr Club. (more details). The B-N-P Club is our monthly donation program and a great way to support our efforts to help animals.
