Saturday, June 9 from 10am-9pm
Last years event 2007

Held in Beautiful Townsend Tennessee
at the 2000 seat Townsend Passion Play Amphitheater

Performers      Vendors      Critter Activities      Kid Stuff

Entertainment...All Day on the 2000 seat Amphitheater stage. Singing, Musical Talent, Story Telling, Comedy Acts and all geared for the family to enjoy. No matter if you are a Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Rock, Jazz or Blues fan there will be something for you to enjoy. Please bring stadium seats or blankets for stadium seating NO lawn type chairs allowed in amphitheater.

Food, Food and more Food...Be sure to check out the Critter Cafe sponsored by the Humane Society with all kinds of tasty treats or try the food vendors that will be set up with scrumptious goodies for you to sample to your hearts content. Don't worry we won't tell your doctor. What happens at the Critter Fest stays at the Critter Fest. No outside coolers, food or beverages allowed into venue please.

Furry Friends... There will be all kinds of animals at the Critter Fest from dogs and cats to horses and possums. That's right we will have  Wildlife Rehabbers, Dog Rescue Groups, Knoxville Zoo Educational Booth and The Smoky Mountain Bear Center Booth. If you are an Animal Lover you will be in Heaven. Please bring your well behaved and on leash Dogs and other Critters to the Critter Festival. Water and Wading Pools will be available for your pets to stay cool.

Crafts & Homemade Goodies of all kinds... You won't believe all the great stuff you can buy and take home to enjoy. You will just have to show up at the Critter Festival and see for yourself.

Kid Stuff...There will plenty for the kids to enjoy. Games, Clowns, Puppets, Animal Coloring Books and much more!

Ways you can HELP!

Fund Raisers you can do yourself...If you would like to do a personal Smoky Mountain Critter Festival Fund Raiser to help us build a safe No Kill Shelter for the animals. Your efforts will be much appreciated by us and the critters. Just ask your family, friends and co-workers to donate to the No Kill Shelter Effort and bring the fruits of your labor to the Critter Festival for donation the day of the event. Get the kids involved, they are great fund raisers and it teaches them to help the animals. Kindness to animals builds a better world for us all. If you belong to a club, team, organization civic or church group get them involved too. Together we can make a difference for the animals of Blount County!

Fill the Barrel for the Critters...Your spare change or any denomination bill  can make a big difference for the animals. We will have a 55 gallon barrel at the Critter Festival and the goal is to fill it up with MONEY...That's right all the way to the top. Raid the Piggy Bank and dig into the couch for all your spare change. Open up that wallet or write a check. The goal is to raise enough money to build a safe No Kill Shelter for the Critters.  I bet we can fill that barrel up. How about you?
