Staying true to our Mission Statement “Dedicated to helping all God’s Creatures” the Blount County Humane Society has started a comprehensive training program for select members of our organization to become trained Animal Cruelty Investigators. Animal Cruelty Investigation has been a need in Blount County for many years and we are happy and privileged to implement a program that will give the animals of our county a voice when they have been neglected or abused.

Our Humane Society is a grass roots citizen based organization and this means we receive no assistance monetarily from the county government. Our Animal Cruelty program will be totally self funded as are all of our programs. If you are someone who is concerned about animal welfare and would like to contribute to the Animal Cruelty Investigation Program to ensure its continued success, please contact us or just join the Bark N Purr Club. Animal Cruelty Investigations is a true community based program and we need everyone who cares for animals to step forward and support this worthwhile endeavor.

If you are interested in becoming an Animal Cruelty Investigator please contact us for an application. All of our Investigators are volunteering their time, similar to a volunteer fireman, to be a part of our team because they care so much about animals and are true Animal Heroes.
